Birgitta Fontél

I am the creator and owner of “Made in 876”. I have a masters degree in product design and have worked in the textile product world through other companies in Norway and Denmark for over 6 years. I have a background as a visual artist, through Street Art, Graffiti and Graphic design and are teaching art at xx every month. I've been promoting and supporting Jamaican culture, music and the country for many years from Europe through Festivals like Öland Roots in Sweden, Aarhus Reggae Festival in Denmark, and many smaller events, with music, cooking and dancing.

I moved to Jamaica in 2020 with a vision to start a business to support the Culture Jamaica's economic growth and to teach my skills. By selling merchandise to Reggae festivals around the world we are supporting the Jamaican economy and making sure that the Jamaican people and culture will benefit of Reggae interest worldwide.

As a foreign in Jamaica, its important for me to be responsible, ethical and to elevate people around me.
